Most of the Wiens family had gone to
Canada, but Peter and Anna had to stay in the Ukraine to take care of their beloved
Grandmother Agatha who was sick with cancer.
Grandma Agatha died on the 16th of Feb1927
In the handwritten notes in the
Wiens family history booklet is the following account of her death.
"Blessed in
the Lord, she attained the age of 71 years, 1 month and 16 days. Sick only 5 days."
